A person living with destructive addictive behaviors often struggles with relationships.  The Christian Church is uniquely gifted to model God-honoring, healthy relationships.  The resident’s involvement with one or more volunteer mentors in a healthy Christian community is vital toward this end.  Volunteer opportunities also exist in teaching a class on a topic of the recovery program, leading residents on a field trip, helping residents cook a meal, and supervising a service project.  Every opportunity to example Christian relationships is a valuable volunteer opportunity.  Volunteers teaching or mentoring residents will be expected to agree with the Genesis Ministries Statement of Faith.  Call us if you’d like to be involved.
